Catalogue entry

The two rough shapes scrawled on this page have been interpreted as two figures.1 With the book turned to the left the figures appear to be two men in cloaks or robes and hats. They are comparable in style and execution to figures on folios 26, 54 verso, 55 verso and 56 (D25688, D25740, D25742, D25443) who also wear cloaks or robes. For references to other figure sketches see folio 57; D25745).
