Catalogue entry

This page contains two sketches:
i. (main sketch to left) The right half of a two-part panorama of Mont Blanc from Chamonix, looking over the valley to the Glacier des Bossons and the Aiguille du Gouter, continued from D29083; Turner Bequest CCXCIII 26a, opposite. The view is similar to that on the preceding double-page spread, D29081–D29082; Turner Bequest CCXCIII 25a–26, but from a lower viewpoint in the town.
ii. (to the right, drawn with the page in the upright position) Looking up the Arve Valley to Mont Blanc, perhaps from near Les Houches.
