Catalogue entry

This page contains two sketches of distant mountain ranges. The drawings are very rough and slight and the precise locations have not been conclusively identified. However, they are likely to depict the Alps.
The page has also been numbered ‘344’ as part of the Turner Schedule in 1854 and endorsed by the executors of the Turner Bequest, Charles Turner, Charles Lock Eastlake and John Prescott Knight.
