In the late 1970s Warhol began to experiment with screen printing shapes of colour that gave the appearance of collaged, cut-out shapes of paper. The image used on this poster combines a photographic print of the artist and bold blocks of colour. This poster is for a 1978 exhibition of Warhol’s work in Zurich.
