Technique and condition
A watercolour on a lightweight, cream tinted wove paper. The work is in good condition with noticeable surface dirt and general discolouration.
On acquisition the support was removed from its window mount, dry-cleaned to reduce surface dirt, and previous tapes and labels removed. It was pressed and mounted onto white museum board.
