Display caption
Wool works on his computer with photographic images of his paintings. Portions are cut out and rearranged, and a new composition is then silkscreened onto large sheets of paper, in such a way that the grid of the half-tone print replaces the fluidity of the original painted marks. These silkscreens are sometimes overpainted with dots and smears of enamel paint, as in this work.
