About

Tate Collective London invited spoken word artist FLOetic Lara to produce a poetic response to Turner Prize 2014 shortlisted artist Duncan Campbell’s film It for Others, 2013.

The audio track, The Power of Art, captures FLOetic Lara’s experience of visiting the Turner Prize 2014 and in particular viewing Campbell’s nominated film, which relects on how objects become commoditised.

Commissioned by Tate Collective London.

Tate Collective London is part of Circuit, led by Tate and funded by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation.
