Singer-songwriter Shakka responds to the repetitive, mulit-layed elements of Turner Prize 2014 nominated artist Ciara Phillip’s work, producing audio to mirror the floor to ceiling brightly coloured rhythmical screen prints in the exhibition. Taking inspiration from the large OK! print Shakka’s track includes motivational, lyrical narrative too.
Shakka is a singer-songwriter and producer from Notting Hill, whose music has been influenced by Indie, Dub Reggae, Hip-Hop, Motown and Garage.
