Tate Britain is delighted to host the launch of The Artists Cinema 2016, a unique project initiated by The Independent Cinema Office  (ICO) and LUX; bringing experimental artists’ film back into cinemas across the UK. 

This special preview presents five new artists’ films: Gabriel Abrantes (A Brief History of Princess X), Dora García (El helicóptero), Naeem Mohaiemen (Abu Ammar is Coming), Margaret Salmon (Bird), and Corin Sworn with Tony Romano (The Coat). The screenings will be followed by the artists in conversation with Ben Cook (LUX) and Adam Pugh (ICO).
