A quieter time to explore the enigmatic world of Edward Burra

Join us on these relaxed mornings to enjoy Edward Burra in a gallery environment with limited numbers of people.

These events are open to anyone who is disabled or neurodivergent and any other visitors with sensory needs who prefer a more relaxed experience, plus their families, friends and carers.

Resources will be available on the day including:

  • Access Station
  • Ear defenders
  • A quiet breakout space

Tate staff will be aware that this is an access hour and will take that into consideration as they look after you and the artwork.

Tate Britain's step-free entrance is on Atterbury Street. It has automatic sliding doors and there is a ramp down to the entrance with central handrails.

The Exhibition is on the Lower floor of the gallery.

  • Accessible, standard and Changing Places toilets are located on the Lower floor.
  • Ear defenders can be borrowed from the ticket desk on the Lower floor.

To help plan your visit to Tate Britain, have a look at our visual story. It includes photographs and information about what you can expect from a visit to the gallery.
