This four-week drawing course uses work from the exhibition Sculpture Victorious as your subject, inspiration and starting point. You will have exclusive after hours access to the exhibition at Tate Britain to create your own drawings. Working with course tutor Sarah Sparkes, you will explore a range of drawing materials and traditional and experimental life drawing techniques and learn to apply these to drawing from sculpture. From short one-minute studies to longer detailed drawings, this course is designed to improve your observational drawing skills as well as giving you and insight into the stories of the artists and their subjects in the exhibition.
All levels welcome. Some drawing experience may be an advantage but not required.
