Join artists and curators for an intimate in-gallery discussion of Frank Bowling’s paintings

Frank Bowling’s work is renowned for its remarkable textures, colours and materials. This special discussion, which includes a private view of the exhibition, focuses on the techniques and influences behind Bowling’s practice, and how his use of paint might relate to historical figures like J.M.W. Turner and John Constable.

Contributors include the artist Kimathi Donkor, Tate curators Laura Castagnini and Amy Concannon, and Spencer A. Richards, Frank Bowling’s assistant and studio manager.

This event has been provided by Tate Foundation on behalf of Tate Enterprises LTD.
