As the first comprehensive retrospective of Frank Bowling’s acclaimed career opens at Tate Britain, this is a unique chance to see new documentary footage of his life and work.
Directed by Rose Jones, Bowling's London Archivist, the film includes interviews with Bowling himself and other key figures from his six-decade career. The screening will be followed by a conversation between the artist’s son, Professor Benjamin Bowling (King’s College London), and Tate Curator Elena Crippa, curator of the Frank Bowling exhibition.
