Dance music legend and trailblazing broadcaster DJ Ritu is the voice behind the UK’s definitive global music show, A World in London. Her 32 year career began as a Soul/Disco/Pop specialist at The London Lesbian & Gay Centre in 1986, and includes co-founding cult label Outcaste Records, touring in over 30 countries with her bands Sister India and The Asian Equation, plus DJ-ing at major venues and festivals worldwide. A Rough Guides CD compiler and pioneering music chameleon, Ritu masterminds the two longest-running Bollywood club nights – Club Kali and Kuch Kuch. Ritu’s set will include soul, pop, disco, and Motown classics, plus club anthems from all nations under a groove.
