This is a rare chance to hear Philippa's personal interpretations as she unpacks Sarah Lucas's use of chairs in her current exhibition from a psychotherapeutic perspective.
This will be a discursive event followed by audience Q&A.

Philippa Perry
Author, factual presenter for radio and television and trained psychotherapist. Philippa draws on her therapeutic practice in her writing, including Couch Fiction, a graphic novel which lays bare the process of psychotherapy, How to Stay Sane and recently The Book You Wish Your Parents Had Read (and Your Children Will Be Glad That You Did).
Philippa writes regularly for the Observer Magazine and created a cartoon agony aunt series for Guardian Video. She presents BBC documentaries including The Truth about Children who Lie for BBC Radio 4, Being Bi-Polar and How to be a Surrealist for BBC Four and alongside Grayson in the award-winning series Grayson’s Art Club.
Tate Britain's Manton Entrance is on Atterbury Street. It has automatic sliding doors and there is a ramp down to the entrance with central handrails.
Accessible and standard toilets are located on the lower floor. Changing Places toilets are currently not available at Tate Britain.
