XANA © Rohan Ayinde

Join a show and tell led by Xana for advice and ideas on developing yourself as a multi-disciplinary artist

As part of (un)common space, join a series of show and tell sessions designed to encourage young creatives to share ideas, advice and feedback with each other in a supportive environment.

Show and tell sharing with poet, musician and sound designer Xana will take place between 14.00–15.00. Bring your tracks, sound design or art to the show and tell. Get feedback on your new music or art, or get closer to finishing a track you're already working on.

Xana will be in the space throughout the day, so drop in before or after the show and tell to experiment with soundscapes and live sampling. You're encouraged to bring your own midi controller or equipment.

About Xana

Xana is a multi-disciplinary poet, live loop improviser, sound designer/artist and educational facilitator. Xana focuses on building noisy riddims around privacy, archives and building inclusive spaces.

Xana is currently working on a geography/sound art commission for Radar in Loughborough, completing their residency with Tate London Schools and Teachers team, sound designing for a new show Black Holes (2018) and is a feature musician on the upcoming SEED ensemble album.
