Visit Tate Britain this summer for a great day out with all the family

Under 5’s Explore the Gallery, Tate Photography, 2017, Alex Wojcik

Drop into the Learning Gallery to experiment with movement in this family-friendly multi-sensory space which explores queerness and different ways of moving your body on the dance floor.

Take a break and head outdoors for a game of ping pong, have fun on the space hoppers, get creative on the easels or try one of our hand-made ice-lollies.

Don’t forget to look out for our Family Hosts* (they’ll be wearing yellow T-shirts) to find out what else is on offer for families. Feel free to bring a picnic along with you and make yourself at home in any of the open spaces or in the Clore Centre.

If the weather is good, why not enjoy the sun at a picnic table or on one of our artist designed deck chairs. Luxury picnic hampers and Jazz brunches** are available at the Rex Whistler for those who fancy a treat.

*At weekends and School holidays
**Saturdays only
