Lucy Howarth, independent scholar and curator of the Marlow Moss display at Tate Britain provides a fascinating insight into an artist once overlooked but now regarded as one of Britain’s most important constructivist artists. An associate of Piet Mondrian she settled in Cornwall, changed her name and adopted a masculine appearance.
