Tate Collective Moments is a new programme of monthly events just for Tate Collective!

We’re kicking things off with a Wellness Week full of FREE activities designed to lift the mood and help you reset during the winter months. Launching on Blue Monday, known as the saddest day of the year, Tate Collective can enjoy a week of free feel-good moments focused on your wellbeing.

Shake off the winter blues by taking part in a programme of specially curated free yoga classes led by MoreYoga. Plus, we’ll be hosting two life-drawing sessions with 2B or not 2B! That’s not all, pop by the Djanogly cafe at Tate Britain throughout the week to grab a free coffee on us.

Not part of Tate Collective yet? Join for free to get access to a week of activities designed to boost your wellbeing.

Tate Collective is Tate’s free scheme for 16–25-year-olds, offering £5 exhibition tickets, discounts, exclusive events and more. Sign up for free today and don’t miss out.

Free tickets for yoga and life drawing will be bookable on Thursday 15 January.

MoreYoga morning sessions*

Energise & Inspire: Vinyasa Flow, 08.30-09.30

Greet the morning with gratitude, connection and good intentions.

Join us for an energising morning class lead by MoreYoga - London’s biggest and most inclusive studio. Open to all levels, one of MoreYoga’s expert teachers will guide you through an uplifting Yoga flow set in our gallery space amongst beautiful works of art. You can expect a fun, playful sequence linking movement with breath, that will awaken your flexibility, help release anxiety and soothe the mind. Maybe you already love Yoga or maybe you’re new to the mat - either way, in this session you are invited to drop any expectation, step away from your screen for an hour and take this moment for yourself.

MoreYoga evening sessions*

Tuesday 20 January / Thursday 22 January

Release & Reflect: Flow to Restore, 18.30-19.30

Step into an evening of warmth, connection & relaxation

Join us for a calming & nourishing evening class open to all levels. In this session, one of MoreYoga’s expert teachers will guide you through a Yoga journey from uplifting flow to grounding stillness, all set in our gallery space amongst beautiful works of art. Expect an enlivening sequence to begin, before being guided towards slower, more restorative postures linked to the breath - all designed to help release anxiety & promote deep healing.

2B Or Not 2B Life Drawing*

Monday 19 January / second date TBC

This evening workshop focuses on expression, mood and interpretation, we’ll be subverting Blue Monday into a moment of uplifting colour and creative engagement.

Two models will be present, wearing bright, colourful clothing. They’ll provide strong visual inspiration for your artwork. You’re encouraged to explore your own ideas and use colour to express mood, emotion, texture, and feeling.

There will be light guidance throughout the session, all levels are welcome.

*Free tickets for yoga and life drawing will be bookable on Thursday 15 January.

MoreYoga

MoreYoga is more than just a yoga studio - it’s a movement built on affordability, community, and transformation. Rooted in the belief that yoga should be for everyone, MoreYoga has been committed to affordable & accessible yoga since 2016, stripping away exclusivity and high price tags, offering real practice for real people. With a down-to-earth and empowering approach, MoreYoga creates spaces where individuals can grow, connect, and explore their practice in a welcoming, judgment-free environment. Beyond the mat, MoreYoga is committed to elevating teachers, fostering inclusivity, and expanding the reach of yoga to more people, more places, and more lives - because yoga should be about more than just movement; it’s about possibility.

2B Or Not 2B

2B Or Not 2B Collective are a POC-run life drawing group based in London, focused on uplifting marginalised bodies. The collective's aim is to provide a fresh take on what life drawing can be, so that artists can switch off from the world, practise their drawing, and socialise within an informal environment. They have worked with various renowned institutions and brands such as Royal Academy, National Gallery, Lululemon, and Kew Gardens to name a few.
