The decade changed how Britain looked, sounded and saw itself. Britpop filled the charts. Rave culture moved from warehouses into the mainstream. Fashion became bolder, fame grew bigger and a new mood took hold across art, film and nightlife.
But the 1990s were not only about hope and excess. The decade was also shaped by shifts in politics, social tension and deep divides.
Joined by special guests, Sawyer will look beyond easy nostalgia. Together, they will revisit the people, stories and key moments that made the era feel so thrilling, messy and new. Expect lively debate, personal memories and a fresh look at the decade’s lasting impact.
