Discover the radical experimentation and unconventional approaches to life which reshaped art, literature and societal thought in Britain

Join us in reflecting on the five-decade creative partnership between Vanessa Bell (1879-1961) and Duncan Grant (1885-1978). Members of the trailblazing Bloomsbury Group, Bell and Grant were two of the most influential British artists of the 20th Century.

The event will be chaired by Thomas Kennedy (Curator of Modern British Art, Tate Britain). Hear from writers and researchers on ways Bell and Grant influenced and supported each other across their 50-year creative and domestic partnership.

Tate Britain's step-free entrance is on Atterbury Street. It has automatic sliding doors and there is a ramp down to the entrance with central handrails.

The Exhibition is on the Lower floor of the gallery.

  • Accessible, standard and Changing Places toilets are located on the Lower floor.
  • Ear defenders can be borrowed from the ticket desk on the Lower floor.
