Under 5's Explore a Queer Walk Through British Art

Discover queer and exciting routes and journeys through the galleries alongside other queer families

Join artist Ashley-Louise McNaughton on an adventure to find your inner creature. How does it move? What does it sound like? Where can we make a home for it at Tate Britain?

Under 5’s Explore the Gallery offers different ways of experiencing Tate Britain together, dis-covering exciting routes and journeys through the galleries alongside other families. The sessions are a playful way to create shared moments, making personal connections between you and the art and architecture of Tate Britain. Let your children’s unpredictability lead the way to discover ways of being in the gallery that might not have seemed possible.

This session is developed by artist Ashley-Louise McNaughton with Tate’s Early Years and Fami-lies Team.

We encourage young people to explore art and idea to take ownership of the gallery
