Work together with your fellow amazing push-poets to add surreal, strange and wonderful words to the on-going poem - all through the act of play! Throw a ball to get a letter, then add a word that starts with that letter. Take part and see how poetry can be part of the public consciousness at any time and in any place.
Established 40 years ago, The Amazing Push Poem Machine was first played on Merseyside Play Action Council playschemes in 1976. Since then, The Windows Project continues to work with communities, youth centres and schools to encourage creativity through writing.
This workshop is programmed by The Windows Project, a Tate Exchange Liverpool Associate.
