Explore the magical qualities and alchemy of cyanotype printmaking. This type printmaking needs little equipment and no darkroom to develop imagery so you can follow along with our online course at home. All you need is some imagination, a little patience and the power of the sun.
This course will use Don McCullin's poetic landscape photography as a springboard for imagery, encouraging you to reflect on the landscapes around you.
Over the 6 weeks, these sessions will feature live demonstrations and group interactions with artist and printmaker Colette Whittington. There will also be pre-recorded talks in the gallery and out on location. You will have the opportunity to share your work live in watch parties and talk with fellow participants in an online forum.
Once booked on to the course, we will post you a basic material pack. Please note we're unable to post the material pack outside of the UK, but you're still welcome to join the course - please email us for more details.
This event will be accessed via Zoom. Please download Zoom prior to the start of the course. You'll receive a link to the Zoom call before the course begins.
