Join us for a creative workshop led by Liverpool-based artist Joseph Cotgrave

Get hands-on as you cast replicas of ARV medication - used to suppress the HIV virus - into sweets and pin badges. Join the discussion about HIV in contemporary society, and the stigma that comes with a HIV diagnosis.

This workshop highlights important themes, which were prevalent in Keith Haring's work.

Biography

Joseph Cotgrave’s art practice explores HIV and the stigma surrounding the virus through his experiences living with HIV. By turning cultural spaces into safe spaces to have discussions around issues such as HIV and mental health Joseph aims to confront stigma - provide useful and open conversations around sensitive subject matter.
