Explore the annual In:Visible Women programme at Tate Exchange

In:Visible Women connects women and families through collaborations and interactions, using artworks and conversations that invite people to share stories and developing understandings. With a programme of story sharing, discussions, workshops, performances, post-it activism, table-top activities and guided activities. Tate Exchange will become a refuge for female exchange, activism and connectivity. We are particularly interested in people sharing their stories about forgotten Irish women, dual- heritage, female migration, Liverpool Irish female creatives and more.

By the end of the week, In:Visible Women will have collected a set of community stories, made a set of Wiki women entries, created a number of artworks and collected ideas for In:Visible Women 2020.

View the full programme here.

Liverpool Irish Festival takes place Thursday 17–Sunday 27 October 2019.

Established in 2017, In:Visible Women is both an event and a trail through the #LIF2019 programme, embedded in to the very fabric of the Liverpool Irish Festival. It came about through conversations with artists, academics, activists, audiences and communities, about the role of women in Irish society and creative industries - today and historically.
