Participate in free, creative workshops led by artist Joseph Cotgrave

Drop in to our studio on the first floor for creative workshops led by Liverpool-based artist Joseph Cotgrave. These workshops encourage you to explore ways of rethinking HIV, its stigma, transmission and prevention. Create badges, posters and banners. Have a go at casting replicas of HIV medication, used to suppress the virus.

Join the discussion about HIV in contemporary society. Hear Dan Glass from ACT UP London. Saturday 9 November at 14.00. Free, no need to book.

Biographies

Joseph Cotgrave

Joseph Cotgrave’s art practice explores HIV and the stigma surrounding the virus through his experiences living with HIV. By turning cultural spaces into safe spaces to have discussions around issues such as HIV and mental health Joseph aims to confront stigma - provide useful and open conversations around sensitive subject matter.

Dan Glass

Dan Glass is a healthcare and human rights activist. Glass was named one of Attitude Magazine’s campaigning role models for LGBTQI youth and a Guardian ‘UK youth climate leader’. He is a public speaker on campaigning, activism and creative social change.
