Pink Flamingos, directed by John Waters (18)

6 March 2013 at 18.30–20.20
Pink Flamingos; still from the John Waters film

This is the movie that made John Waters famous, and the film considered to have made glamorous bad taste fashionably cool. The film stars Waters’s muse Divine as Virginia, a large transvestite. The plot revolves around two vile families laying claim to the title 'The Filthiest People Alive'. The film features numerous famous incidences of bad taste in true John Waters style.

Please note that this film will be shown at FACT, 88 Wood Street, Liverpool, L1 4DQ.
