Warhol's Exploding Plastic Inevitable and Expanded Cinema Presented by Dr Glyn Davis and Garry Needham

What was the Exploding Plastic Inevitable (EPI), and what was its legacy?

Join Glyn Davis (University of Edinburgh) and Gary Needham (Nottingham Trent University) for an illustrated talk which will introduce you to Andy Warhol's multi-media live performance experiment, originally created to support a series of performances by The Velvet Underground.

Discover the place of EPI in the development of Warhol's practice as an artist, filmmaker and band manager and discuss the EPI as an example of 'expanded cinema'.
