Exploring the lives of medical pioneers in Liverpool

Encounter a series of short animations created by patients of Alder Hey Children’s Hospital working in partnership with Twin Vision. The children and young people have explored the lives of three pioneering individuals Dr. William Duncan, Sir Robert Jones and Frances Ivens. All of whom made a significant contribution to the development of modern medicine and have a strong connection to Liverpool.

Visitors can also view a documentary film, the sets and models from the animation process and take part in a series of workshops during the week, further details to follow.

Alder Hey Children’s Hospital cares for over 330,000 children, young people and their families every year and has done for over 100 years.
