Join us at Tate Exchange as we reflect on higher education and the impact it can have on transforming lives and identities.

We will uncover shared experiences and seek answers to the question who has access to higher education, how is this changing and why?

Tuesday 30 October, 13.00 - 15.00 and Friday 2 November, 11.00 - 14.00

Drop in to view, create and comment on personal artwork that explores who we are, who we are allowed to be, and who we want to be. Make a short vlog about the impact of higher education on you or your family. Suitable for all ages.

Monday 29 October, 14.00 - 15.00 and Thursday 1 November, 11.00 - 12.00

Join us and mature learners for discussion and exchange of experiences about higher education, stereotypes, expectations, identity and opportunity.

Friday 2 November, 14.00 - 15.00

Be a student for an hour and join an art and protest seminar led by staff from the University of Liverpool

Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 November, 11.00 - 16.00

Drop in for a conversation and view an artwork produced in response to the stories contributed by visitors during the week.

This week of activities is part of the celebrations surrounding the 20-year anniversary in 2019 of the Go Higher Diploma, the University of Liverpool’s part-time access foundation programme for mature learners seeking access to degrees in the arts, humanities and social sciences.
