Join us for a talk with acclaimed writer Lauren Elkin in discussion with Turner Prize-winning artist Lubaina Himid

Lauren Elkin and Lubaina Himid will discuss Elkin's book Art Monsters: Unruly Bodies in Feminist Art and will include an introduction by Tate Liverpool's Director, Helen Legg.

Art Monsters is a landmark intervention in how we think about art and the body, calling attention to a radical heritage of feminist work that not only reacts against patriarchy but defines its own aesthetic aims.

This talk will be British Sign Language (BSL) interpreted.

The talk will be followed by a book signing. Copies of Art Monsters: Unruly Bodies in Feminist Art will be available to buy on the day from our shop.
