8–14's Studio: Kinetic Art Visiting artist: Natascha Young

16 April 2016 at 13.00–18.00
21 May 2016 at 13.00–18.00
Three kinetic art sculptures photographed in a white background

Calling all 8–14s year olds and their families!

Are you interested in creating alongside an artist? Are you curious about what happens inside an artist studio?

Artist Natascha Young brings her studio to Tate and invites you to join her in exploring making art in unusual ways. Under the theme of kinetic art, Natascha will be working with you to invent your own tools for art-making. You don’t need to be an artist to come along, just turn up and see what happens!

About 8–14 Studio

8–14’s Studio is a space where you can work with a professional artist making shared artwork alongside other 8–14s year olds. Each artist works with a theme inspired by their practice so you can explore different ways of working with every different artist who visits the Studio.

Drop in and explore different creative ideas and materials every third Saturday of the month at Tate Modern.

About Nastascha

Natascha Young is a sculptor, her primary focus is on repetition and process using wood and metal materials.

Please note May’s 8-14’s Studio will be held in the East Room on Level 6.
