The exhibition presents many of Ana Mendieta’s iconic works alongside newly remastered films, early paintings, and late sculptural pieces, many of which have never been seen in the UK before. Active in the 1970s and early 80s, the Cuban-born American artist posed profound questions throughout her work around displacement and identity, which remain highly relevant today.
Please arrive from 14.45. The tour will start at 15.00 and last for one hour.
You can also book a place via phone on 020 7887 8888 between 10.00–17.00 daily. If you have any questions about the tour please email us at accessbooking@tate.org.uk.
