Join our workshops encouraging students to engage with art, artists and ideas

Taking place in the gallery, students and their teachers will be led by contemporary artists to encounter artworks. The workshops are designed to encourage students to engage with art, culture and ideas and to share their thoughts, aspirations and opinions in unique and diverse ways.

The workshops are developed over a year and all sessions take a radical approach, inviting students to learn about themselves and others by engaging with artworks in a public setting. The conversations started in response to the collection are designed to encourage students to ask questions, develop opinions and take ownership of the gallery.

To book, please complete the form below and email this to schoolsandteachers@tate.org.uk.

Teacher, schools workshops, 2017

Workshops offer a refreshing change to the school environment and approach. The students find them fun, engaging and unexpected!
