A young Damien Hirst

A young Damien Hirst

In an intimate and revealing portrait, Damien Hirst talks with a refreshing honesty about his early years growing up in Leeds, his move to London in the early 1980s, and his time spent at Goldsmiths College where he curated the now infamous Freeze show that bought the YBAs together for the first time.

We follow his meteoric rise to fame in the '90s as he discusses his seminal works, culminating in the creation of the iconic diamond skull. Using mainly footage from his own archives and edited and directed by the BAFTA award winning Chris King (Senna), this is the film to watch for everyone interested in knowing the real Hirst.
