The Art and Religion Room brings together over 75 objects related to various world religions and cultures. It is part of Meschac Gaba’s Museum of Contemporary African Art, created between 1997-2002 and intended to broaden notions of what a museum can be. You are invited to have a tarot reading in the centre of the installation, surrounded by symbols of Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, Vodún and other traditional African faiths.
The tarot readings will take place on a first-come first-served basis. Each reading will last 15 minutes.
