Join Erin Brannigan in conversation with Catherine Wood, Senior Curator of International Art (Performance) as they trace the influence of dance on Robert Rauschenberg’s work from the 1950s and 1960s. See rare footage of performances featuring choreography, costumes and stage designs by Rauschenberg and discover how his innovations paved the way for current experiments across choreography and the visual arts.​

Biography

Erin Brannigan is Senior Lecturer in Dance at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, and works in the fields of dance and film as an academic and curator. Erin has written extensively on dance, film and performance and has curated dance screen programmes and exhibitions. Current collaborative projects include Experimental Humanities and After Rauschenberg – Composition: Movement: Experiment.
