Join the acclaimed artist, Ed Ruscha, for a conversation with Frances Morris reflecting on his life and career spanning six decades

Ed Ruscha is widely regarded as one of the world’s most important artists best known for his series of photographs of Los Angeles and paintings featuring everyday words and phrases.

In this talk, Ruscha will discuss with Tate Modern’s Director Frances Morris his work that explores the relationship between mass media and the banality of modern urban life.

This event coincides with Ed Ruscha's ARTIST ROOMS display at Tate Modern which will be open to the attendees for viewing following the talk from 20.00-21.00.
