Join author Jenny Offill for a conversation about art, literature and the climate emergency


This event marks the publication of Offill’s new novel Weather, in which ecological fears combine with everyday anxieties. Offill will be in conversation with writer and critic Brian Dillon.

Following the talk, Jenny Offill will sign copies of Weather.

Biographies

Jenny Offill

Jenny Offill is the author of the novels Last Things (a New York Times Notable Book of the Year and a finalist for the L.A. Times First Book Award), and Dept. of Speculation, which was shortlisted for the Folio Prize, the Pen Faulkner Award and the International Dublin Award.

Brian Dillon

Brian Dillon is Professor of Creative Writing at Queen Mary University of London. His many books include Essayism, and his writing has appeared in The Guardian, the London Review of Books, Artforum, New York Times, The New Yorker, Granta and The White Review. He is UK editor of Cabinet Magazine.
