Explore the Tate Collection before the gallery opens to the public with an intimate out-of-hours tour

Experience the Tate Collection like never before with an intimate tour led by a Tate expert. The galleries will open an hour early for you to be immersed in the very best of modern and contemporary art from around the world.

With the opportunity to ask questions and engage with your guide throughout the tour, unlock thought-provoking insights as you explore our world-renowned galleries.

Tate Modern's entrance is via the Turbine Hall on Holland Street. There are automatic sliding doors and a ramp down to the entrance.

The tour guide will meet you outside of the Cloakroom on Level 0 of the Natalie Bell Building.

  • Fully accessible toilets are located on every floor on the concourses.
  • A quiet room is available to use in the Natalie Bell Building on Level 4.
  • Ear defenders can be borrowed from the Ticket desks.

To help plan your visit to Tate Modern, have a look at our visual story. It includes photographs and information of what you can expect from a visit to the gallery.
