The Itch of the Golden Nit

The Itch of the Golden Nit

This summer The Tate Movie Project presents The Itch of the Golden Nit! a 30-minute film feature produced by Aardman Animations. Voiced by the best of British talent, including David Walliams, Catherine Tate and Miranda Hart, The Tate Movie Project is the first of its kind – an animated film made entirely from drawings by thousands of children across the UK. Part of the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad, the film will be shown on the BBC and in all Vue cinemas across the August bank holiday weekend.

An interactive exhibition of the project will feature in Tate Modern’s Turbine Hall across the summer with a chance to see behind the scenes footage and the film itself.
