Artist Lina Lapelytė has created a maze-like installation, transforming the Turbine Hall into a collaborative stage. Create the work as you become part of it, moving through a grid of wooden barriers. You are also free to quietly watch the performance unfold, from the side or on the Turbine Hall bridge.
Lina is interested in how individual sounds and actions come together to create music and choreography. Listen out for sounds that invite you to move or make a noise, and perform a series of actions that contribute to a ‘score’. The sounds and actions you make will join with others, creating a shared composition.
Take a leap into Lina’s world of play, where art, music and improvisation meet in unexpected ways.
