‘Passions’ is an informal conversation between selected figures who feature on the visual piece We Apologise For The Delay To Your Journey, from different generations and working across different media, with an intimate public audience and invited guests. Drop in and out of the group and contribute to the conversation, exploring the routes people take to become artists and how gender and race are navigated. The discussion will be led by the Thick/er Black Lines collective, and will feature contributions from the freelance project manager and curator Adelaide Bannerman, the ceramist Freya Bramble-Carter, the film-maker Jenn Nkiru, and the performance artist Selina Thompson.
