Artist-led workshops for SEND schools

Join our workshops for students from SEND settings and Pupil Referral Units

Taking place in the gallery and studio spaces, students and their teachers will be led by contemporary artists to encounter artworks. The workshops are designed to encourage students to engage with art, culture and ideas and to share their thoughts, aspirations and opinions in unique and diverse ways.

The workshops are developed over the course of a year and all sessions are tailored to accommodate your group’s particular requirements. By engaging in a series of practical and gallery-based activities, students are made to feel welcome, respected and inspired.

We recommend group sizes of up to ten supported by appropriate staffing ratios from the visiting organisation. We also invite all schools to complete a form in advance of the workshop that outlines the needs of the group, allowing the artist to tailor the session.

To book, please complete the form below and email this to schoolsandteachers@tate.org.uk.
