Enjoy an informal discussion with Istanbul-based artist Gözde İlkin on the opening weekend of the new installation Those Who Remember Their Births.
The talk will include an introduction from the artist and Tate St Ives curators, and a conversation with members of the local community who have collaborated on this project, including textile artist Jo McIntosh and art historian Janet Axten.
Developed during a Tate St Ives Residency at Porthmeor Studios, the wave-like textile installation is embroidered with images inspired by landscapes and social histories of St Ives.
