Into Art? 13–18 years old? Then get creative at Art Lab this summer

Mess with media and create art in our summer series of creative workshops for 13–18 year olds. Led by an artist, you’ll explore working with different materials to create art which will be showcased in our summer Art Lab exhibition at Tate St Ives.

Wednesday 24 May

Come and create your own hand-made sketchbook in our artist-led workshop. Explore different methods and techniques including making, recording and collecting.

Photography and Text

Wednesday 1 May

Join us as we explore text and photography in a fun way using drawing, writing, digital tools and photography. Help us investigate how photography and text are used in art and explore whether Instagram counts as a sketchbook?

Beach Art

Wednesday 8 May

Get inspired outdoors and join us on Porthmeor beach as we use our natural surroundings to collect ideas and experiment with materials.

Sketchbooks Revisited

Wednesday 15 May

Delve deeper into the creation of sketchbooks as we explore binding, stitching and sticking. Help us to investigate how we can use our sketchbooks to bring our ideas together.

Print Making
