Description
In this letter Bacon mentions that he has produced three small paintings that he is excited about and asks for £50 immediately as he has no money to buy materials. He also mentions his travel plans for the next two months.

Acquisition
The records were acquired from Erica Brausen by purchase in two batches. The records of stock, sales and purchases, scrap albums and photograph albums were purchased in 1986, and the material relating to Francis Bacon in September 1987.
