T01275 Black B pencil on cartridge paper, 8¿ x 10¼ (22.5 x 26).
The artist said (15 March 1971) that he thought he had drawn these sketches towards the end of the period when he was painting ‘Primrose Hill’, T01270. He wrote (16 March 1971) that he selected them as the best of the 50 working drawings. He could not assign a chronological order to them.
