A view from the Pont de la Concorde in Paris, looking up the Seine towards the Ile de la Cité and Notre-Dame. The other bridges are the Pont de Solférino and the Pont Royal.
According to Jean and Henry Dauberville, Bonnard reworked the figures in March 1915, in particular the old lady.
